For people of faith, prayer is not the issue. The challenge is to not sink to the terrorist's level and start eliciting anger at particular groups of people when very little is known at this point. We also need to let God be the ultimate judge, rather than placing condemnation in our hearts toward the perpetrators. We should focus on more constructive matters that are in our control, like those you mentioned.

It sounds like a very sad situation, but why did she fall for this stuff twice? It seems like one of those "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" situations. Obviously, the bullies are horrible for their actions and have blood on their hands. Hopefully teens will learn to not do this stupid cybering stuff after seeing how things turned out with this girl.

As for the damage calculator, it certainly works, but damage taken and inflicted is so high that player characters get taken down in one hit very often--so many of the battles last no longer than a single turn. As far as the RPG battle mold, that isn't common in early-game combat scenarios for lowly levelled characters (though this could still be an NPC mismatch). Expecting further damage multipliers per weapons+armours and of course the whole loot and experience deal, maybe even bonus/critical hits; the game already has that familiar RPG twang, and it'd be cool to see some sort of innovation in the mix. Add some animations to the final product, and basic battling frays should be set! Many of the character and enemy stats are not finalized, so I've scaled the damage to be in the 101-114-ish range for the short-term. Expect to see much more depth to the calculations as the battle engine advances. I am predestined to have free will.

If I'm not mistaken, the SDK websites maintain "all rights reserved" sync permission as a general form of copyright. Obviously the content is public, but still should require (if not done so already) approval from the creator in order to reproduce it; most likely in addition to a notice and credit given. e.g. the games (and the paint demo) on DSiCade.
