i think in a chatroom there should be a command or button to call a admin in the chatroom and for who ever pushes or does the command for fun gets banned

That could be hard to make...i mean how will it notify the admin. But good idea, no less.

Like paging a specific admin of your choice, haha that would be sweet.

"who ever pushes or does the command for fun gets banned"
Too iffy.

Lol, sounds like a summoning spell. Really though, I feel it treats admins like dogs.
Catch my drift.

Yea, but we can always choose to ignore the "call".

@Divine True, but the only way to see if the call is legitimate would be to answer it. Well, unless the feature includes a reason input.
Catch my drift.

What about the admins who feel left out due to not be "called" as much?

I think it should be strictly calling all chat moderators.

But how will the alert come up?

Because the message alert doesn't appear while your not in a chatroom. It could be possibly...

Alerts come around rarely because they're reserved for urgent announcements.
Catch my drift.

Alerts were used once or twice, but hull decided to use blogs/twitter or chatrooms to let everyone know things.

Just don't make the button or command. It'd just be too hard.

this could actually work..hmm..i think it should automatically send a message to all chat mods, since its their jurisdiction, per sé, and whoever decides to answer it does..it should include the time of the alert, a link to the chatroom, and a reason why, so that no one answers an alert days later or in the wrong chatroom..

agreed. it would make things a lot easier. I remember searching like crazy when I wasn't a chatmod for one.

But then the problem arises, what if we enter the room after the rule's broken and we miss it completely?

It could be abused. If you miss it you don't have any evidence to belive the user did anything bad. Thus the user might be wrongly banned.
I hope life ain't a joke, because I don't get it.

Ace- But when you enter a room it doesn't always show what everyone just said, that's what i meant. Say as if you're on the boards and you're alerted to come to a chat, you'll most likely miss the problem completely.
