No it's not pointless it's a Pokemon and it's in the Pokemon thread. Plus it's a special Pokemon because it's the only Physic/Fire type and it's got the only ability: Victory star which increases the accuracy of the whole team. Trust it's a very unique pokemon... Plus its catch rate -.-'

I wonder if we will be able to get the Victini with the move V-Create. Japan got it and it even comes with Fusion Flare and Fusion Bolt.

Victini is ok, it's not the strongest unless you EV train it, and even then...
