Category: Bug Report
Every time I go into my settings, the signature field is blank.
Unless I reenter my signature, it wipes it upon saving my settings.
Is there any way to avoid this (using 2DS/3DS browser)?

Thanks for looking into this, BTW!
And thanks for making this awesome website, too!

Interesting. I'll have to look into this. I'll keep the bug report open for the moment, but at least the issue is narrowed down now.

I figured out what was causing it.
It was the quotation marks.
Apparently, none of the other special characters have any impact on it being able to save properly, only the quotation marks.
What clued me in on it was when I had encountered the same problem recently with blog titles.
When I used quotation marks in them, they would wipe upon saving, too.
I'll quit using the quotation marks in my Signature for now, but is there any way that you can fix it?
Or is it actually SUPPOSED to work this way?
I'm not really sure, but if it is, then I'll just get used to it, as it's not that big of a deal.

The Kanji Characters DO show up on my 2DS.
As for other devices, the only other one I've tried (or can try) is my mom's old Blackberry, and if I remember right, it had the same issue, although that was before I used any of the Japanese Characters.

Do the Kanji character show up correctly on the Nintendo 2DS? I'm wondering if it's just an issue with that specific platform. Can you save using another browser?

I was initially hesitant, due to the fact it's somewhat awkward to type this (on my 2DS), and the fact I can't copy it from my Profile and paste it here (again, because I'm on a 2DS), but this is my current Signature:

This is what my original Signature was:
"……Souzouryoku ga Tarinaiyo."
Exactly like that.
I've since "improved" my Signature, by entering (roughly) the same thing, only with Japanese Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji Characters (entered using HTML decimal codes), but the problem still occurs.
That version is currently still on my Profile, if you need to see it.
(I can't cut and paste with my 2DS's browser, BTW.)

Are you entering any special characters into the field, including quotation marks, apostrophes, carats, slashes, etc.? If possible, can you paste into a reply what you were trying to enter?
