As of 9 Jan 2021, the method for loading shoutboxes is first delete all visible shouts, then repopulate with the updated list of shouts.

However, on a DSi, which is painfully slow, this can forcibly scroll the user to a higher point on the page if they are reading lower shouts by means of bringing the bottom of the page upwards.

I propose shouts be loaded into an invisible element before replacing the preexisting shout list. This way, updates can still happen and will not adversely affect user experience.
