@banjo2 this is mainly due to device lag, but I think the code could be slightly restrucutured to fix this.

I'll take ownership since it's not a hard fix, I think

This could also be averted if it worked the way it did before the shoutbox overhaul, where you couldn't just spam enter/Shout button. Unfortunately, I lack the technical knowledge/detail on the matter.
