Thanksgiving is short. I had a few days last year, and I think my family ended up seeing me for a day or two. But yeah, Christmas. Being away from home for so long kinda makes the year's end more special. Now that I think about it, 2011 sure seemed to fly by. Or maybe I think about time too much.

If I remember correctly, I had an acquaintance who got an old job while at school, went home for Christmas, and worked some over the break. Probably isn't common but apparently it's possible.

Good, good to hear. Hey, props for ambitiousness--not many first years attempt to manage full-time classes paired with a part-time work schedule. Or are you planning for a work stint over the upcoming holiday?
