Tips on drawing

What I do is I get a picture of what I want to draw and ignore the shading and color at first so i can draw the outline of it(google images is good for finding pictures, but i only use the ones that are at least 700×700). When your drawing you have to make sure everythings in the right place, the bends and curves are drawn at the right angle, and the porportions are right. If u have art acadmy from dsiware then u can take a picture (with the DSi camera) of wut u want to draw, go to free paint and put the picture on the top screen. What helps me is I put the top picture so its on outline and i turn on the lines. When I draw the eyes I put it on shading and I use the magnifying glass. After i draw it a few times i dont need the picture anymore because I rember the steps. I hope this helps! ^_^
