3DS Updation: A full blog seires inspired by DethDude reviewing the new Nintendo 3DS!
There is the image of the title/logo for the Nintnedo 3DS! So lets start!
This week Nintendo has been at E3: electronic entertainment expo! Just today Nintendo announced the new Wii-U but thats not what im here for! Wii-U Official Website! The Nintendo 3DS has just recieved it very 1st major syste update! This so far has been the most anticipated milestone for the 3DS yet right next to the Nintendo eShop and the Internet Brower so now that the Wi-Fi world has been opened to many possibilities with DLC(DownLoadable Content)!
Internet Browser: The new Internet Browser lets you browse the internet right from your 3DS as long as you are within a Wi-Fi hotspot or a wireless router! The free Internet browser can show 3D images on sites that are specifically designed to show 3D images. As many of you will already know, the browser will also be available to use as you play meaning you'll be able to check out game guides if you are stuck in a game. You can stop playing your Nintendo 3DS game and go to the browser by pressing the Home button and then resume their game when you're finished browsing. You can also use the browser to download 3D pictures from the Internet and save them to your SD Card. Or you can upload ones you have taken with the Nintendo 3DS cameras. When you're using the internet browser, you'll be able to zoom in on JPEG images by tapping and holding. We learned that the 3DS internet Browser will not support plug ins like Flash or PDF. However, you'll be able to store up to 64 favorites. As for images, the browser can directly display 3D picture data in the MPO format. Compatible image formats include MPG, GIF, JPEG, PNG, BMP and ICO. Browser:NetFront(R) Browser NX v1.0 Protocols:HTTP 1.0-1.1, SSLv3, and TLS 1.0 Web Standards: HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.1, CSS 1-Some of 3, DOM Levels 1-3, EMCAScript, XHTMLHttpRequest, Canvas elements
and Nintendo eShop: The Nintendo eShop was just recently added on June 6th 2011; 9:30pm PST(pacific startard time)! I have used the eShop alot since I got it and by getting the eShop you get 2 free downloads! 1. 3D Classics ExciteBike 2. Pokedex 3D 1. ExciteBike came out in Japan in 1984 for the NES and now Nintendo has kindly put this classic on the eShop in 3D for FREE! Now isnt that just great! You can race and design your own course. Try to beat your fastest time! It great and packed all into one game!
While I was on the Nintendo eShop I saw that there were alot of other options! Like your settings, accounts, rating, funds, wish lists, and a search option! If you have a Wii and use the Nintendo Channel and the WIiWare Shop this is both...COMBINED!(sorta) When I went on the eShop earlier I say that there is section where you can view the games shown at E3. You can read some info and view there trailer and short sneak peaks! Also you download DSiWare games that were on the DSiShop! But only in 2D! Now what I think most peopl ehave been waiting for is the Virtual Console games! Right now there is: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, Super Mario Land, AlleyWay,and Radar Mission but I know that in the future the WILL be more! So I think that's enough for today! I was using my 3DS to type this! So LOOOOONNNGGG! So comment please! Be critical! I need the critisism for later references! But if you DO think it is good then please compliment! Or go to my profile! DaChosenUno's Profile Thanks and bye! Sources: nintendo.com nintendo3dsblog.com wikipedia.com ign.com Please visit me on my next blog! Probably on Friday because I get out of school on Wednesday! -DaChosenUno |
