Chapter 4 Tayo starts to run. His body shudders as dark thoughts start to creep into his head. Just as he runs past a cave he makes a quick left and stops. Its link, unconcious. Oh no! He thought to himself. Maybe he is dead. He fills him right side up and sits him up against the tree. Only a few moments later Link wakes up and sees Tayo. "Tayo! its you what are you doing here?" "Link what was that pusle of darkness?" "Um...well I found this black sword and I pulled it and yeah but Tayo arent you glad to see me?" Questioned Link. "What!? Oh no! The legend is true! My grandma used to tell me a legend about a sword ummm...I forgot its name! uhhhh...the Sword of....Pain? no, Death? OH! I GET IT! The Sword of Bane! Now why did you pull it!?" Tayo yelled. "Wells whats that mean?" Link asked. "Death, destruction, pain, evil! How could you not know that!?" Tayp exploded with furry. Link felt guilty inside. He didnt know! It just looked really powerful to him. As long as he goes and puts the sword back everything will be fine right? "Tayo, what if i put the sword back into the rock?" "Well its worth a try right? Whats the worst that can happen?" So they both walk back into the cave and stay silent as they walk. Only the wind rushing into the cave is heard and their footsteps. Once they get to the back of the cave they speak to eachother. "Okay, Link where did you drop the sword?" Tayo asked quietly. "Um, okay I felt the pulse and then I dropped it right over...there!" He exclaimed pointing to the sword. Tayo picked it up and felt its blade. Pure was the first word that flew through hus mind at the moment. He gave the blade to Link and gestured him to do it. Tayo took a couple steps back and waited for Link. He held the sword up high then jammed it down. A flash was all they saw... The sword had vanished. The only thing remained was a note. "You have awoken the darkness. The Sword of Bane has been pulled and the world fell into darkness. The sword you just put down was a clone. Be prepaed for your worst nightmare..." and the signature was smudged and ripped. "Link, what does this mean?" "I have no idea..." Far from the cave and across the ocean and forest in the Golden Land Temtation grinned. Darkness had awakened and is coming. Temptaion looked down into his hand. The only thing stopping him from the land of Hyrule was the GateWay. He couldnt take his eyes off what was in his palm... the Sword of Bane...
