Tallan Latz is a blues guitarist, but that's not so surprising. What is surprising is how young he is. Tallan's first instrument was the drums when he was three years old. When he was five he came across a video of joe satriani playing an electric guitar. He turned around and told his dad that's exactly what he wants to do. His father gave him three choices a bike, a remote control boat or an electric guitar. He picked the guitar, and his father told him that he doesn't want it sitting around he wants it to be put to use. Ever since tallan plays guitar 2-4 hours a day. At eight years old he had endorsement deals and played with local and national famous guitarists. His idols are joe satriani, BB king, stevie ray vaughan, jimi hendrix, and joe bonamassa. When he was eight he played with Mr. Les Paul at the pabst theater: Here's the video Many have called T-man the future of the blues. Tallan made it pretty far in america's got talent in 2009. He got a standing ovation and approved by all three judges. Unfortunately he got eliminated later in the competition. It might be odd for my inspiration to be younger than me, but Tallan has certainly proved to me that age doesn't matter. |
