Moving On Silence. It was inevitable. Rover lost his breath. But why?, Rover thought, Had this been planned? The next few days were silent. Everyone stayed in their houses. The only time they'd come outside was to get their mail. Now it was the only way to contact eachother. The wind blew against their houses. As if all had gone still. The town hall was the only thing that was wasn't quiet. It moved with life but mostly sorrow. Tortimer packing his bags still shocked from what has to come. Pelly sobbed at her desk. She was sad that he was leaving but her main focuses were the new mayor. Would she like them? Would they be mean? Who will do all the paper work? Who knows? For right now, Tortimer had to leave. Pelly was arranging his boat. The mayor will be staying at an island not too far from Starwood. Once the mayor left there was no time to spare, Pelly called a mandatory town gathering. She even had Kapp'n, the driver, go around the town informing citizens. Rover walked out of his house, for the first time in 2 weeks. He had to go grocery shopping anyway. He stopped at Rosie's house, he knocked. "Who is it?" yelled Rosie. "It's me, Rover. Did you hear about the meeting? We have to go." Rosie opened the door slowly. "Cmon, let's go. No stalling this time. It's got to be important." commanded Rover. At the town hall, the citizens were gathering for the important meeting that could change everything, forever. Pelly stood at the podium waiting to make an announcement. Pelly swallowed. "Citizens, I bring you all here to tell you all that not all hope is lost. We know that last week something devastating happened. But we can't hide from it! We must move on!" Someone from the crowd shouts," Just spit it out!" "We must elect a new mayor, and the campaigning begins tomorrow!" cried out Pelly. "If anyone would like to run for mayor please come up now..." Everyone stood still for what felt like hours. But after a minute or two a few people began walking up. Rover saw some familiar faces like Gaston, Mitsi, Bob, Scoot, Octavian, Eloise, and Teddy. "Aren't you going up?" Rosie asked Rover. "NO! Why would you ask that!" exclaimed Rover. "Well seeing as you always wanted to do something great for this town I thought you'd run for mayor the first chance you got." replied Rosie. Rover got a flashback, it was when he first moved into town. He had a list of things to accomplish. ~~~~~ "Thanks Kapp'n. Here take 100 bells!" offered Rover. "Nah, it's on me. It's the least I could do for the one who saved my cab from sinking in the lake!" "Alright, if you insist. Well I'm going to claim my house. See ya around Kapp'n!" Rover watched as the cab drove off into the distance. The sun was shining with a cool breeze. Rover grabbed his luggage and walked towards his new home. The manage, Tom Nook, had called Rover in advance to set up everything. The only thing he had to do was collect the keys! He was heading towards Nook's Cranny when a wild cat came charging at him. "Uuuuh.." yelled Rover. BOOOOOM! CRASH! BANG! JWOEOIIATNJJ! Both Rover and the cat, Rosie, sat up. "What was that for!" cried Rover! " Ohmygosh! Im so sorry! Here, I'll help you up. I was on my way to the town hall to get my mail. I'm Rosie. (: " "Uhhm, nice to meet you." "Why don't you come with me. I'll show you around." As Rover and Rosie walked towards Town Hall Rover took out a folded paper. "What's that?" asked Rosie. "It's my list if things to do while in StarWood. Here..." To-Do List: StarWood 1. Move into town. 2. Fall in love. 3. Do something that'll change the world. ~~~~~ And Rover stepped foward and up the stage, not knowing what would happen next. To Be Continued... Hey guys I'm back!
