The Election Part 1
Once Rosie finished the note she took off to do her daily routine. Morning aerobics, jog on the beach, part-time job at the Able Sisters, lunch at the Pierview Diner, then finally she got home and relaxed. Just now she remembered that she saw a truck moving in. She wondered who, what, it could be. So finally decided to try out the house everyone received after the unveiling during the Bright Nights. Rosie called Pelly. "Hello, Rosie! How may I help you?" "Hi! I was curious, earlier I saw truck coming through the gates, do you know who that is?" asked Rosie. "Ihm, not exactly sure. I checked my records. No one's moving in. It was just a delivery." replied Pelly. "Just a delivery? For what a new island? Whatever, I'll go find out tomorrow! Thanks anyways!" "No problem! Hey, how's Rover?" asked Pelly. "Oh he's doing great. But I last saw him two days ago. He's on a retreat with Tortimer to train just incase he wins. Sadly, I didn't get to say goodbye. He just left a note." explained Rosie. "Oh, well do you know where they went?" "No, but I know he's alright." Well that's good. Hey, Phyllis is taking over my shift. Talk to you later." and Pelly hung up. Hm? A delivery? Strange. Soon enough Rosie found herself drifting to sleep on her sofa. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the mayor's island it was around 10pm. Tortimer stepped out of house and walked down the front steps of his house. He was on his way to the Pierview Diner. Just opened a couple months ago. It was a HUGE success. It was on a small pier just on the edge of Starwood where the border cut it off. Tortimer just wanted some dinner. He walked around his oasis for about 3 minures to find a small cave-like garage with his speed boat. He got on, turned it on, and boated off to Starwood. He wasn't completely banned Just as long as her didn't step foot on the ground of Starwood. The pier was his loophole. Once inside he ordered a steak with broccoli soup for a side. "Hey! Nice seeing you around here Tortimer!" It was Porter. The nice yet funny monkey that opened the diner for a chance of success in this town. "Yeah, I just wanted to get some dinner." "Coming right up!" Porter said with a smile. Later, when Tortimer finished his steak he left a tip and began to walk out the back door to the secret lower dock where he had parked his speed boat. Pelly was just getting home when she heard her stomach growl. She had forgotten to eat, but when she looked her fridge was empty. Pelly grabbed her wallet and headed to the diner. Everything was going good for Pelly. Minus the part about Tortimer being gone. But as soon as she got to the pier and walked in, he eyes locked onto Tortimer just walking out the back door. No! She though. Rosie told me he was on a retreat!? Rosie turned around calmly and headed out. Just as soon as the door closed behind her, her legs moved faster than ever before. But soon she realized she was being followed. Something flew at her, a rope that aimed for her feet. She jumped and dodged everything thrown at her and even caught one of the ropes. She was just about to get off the pier and onto land when the mysterious figure threw one last item. But Pelly didn't see it coming. She felt a prick behind her neck. Her arm lost feeling, then her other. Why is this happening to me?! She thought. With the little feeling left in the right arm, she lunged off the pier. While in mid-air she threw the rope back at the enemy. By the time it reached him. Pelly felt her self surrounded by water. She was a duck so swimming was her specialty. But she knew that she would begin to lost the feeling in her legs to if she didn't get out. Pelly reached the shore right before the numbness spread to her thighs then knees, and finally feet. Gasping for air she lay there on the beach hoping that this person wouldn't return. She thought to soon. The last thing Pelly saw was a figure above her, tying her up. And mumbling something. it made sense to her now. "You knew too much." To Be Continued... Cliff hanger? Like the action? Yeah, I tried. So what do you guys think? Good?
