I was informed that the annual egg hunt has started, so I decided to check it out, and wow, it's the UGC-type again!!
I'm not a fan of "put eggs in popular user-made games". Maybe I'm just picky, but I love the originl ones. Yolktales, Eggverse, the other ones that I forgot uhhh,..,
I liked 2012 and 2013, 2016 was ok(I believe that was the one with the purple shards), and 2017/2018 (the ones that started with the Stratosphere Outpost and the library) were good. I really liked them, even tough they ran at questionable FPS on my laptop. I hope they return to this form next year.
Also, the library one had original music, which *I think* is a first for these, maybe I'm wrong though. I couldn't find the source for the music of the Stratosphere Outpost one's songs.
2019 was interesting because itwas sort of a mix of the two. It was mostly UGC, but they had some original levels, and the Avengers Endgame tie-in, which was cool. It's nice to have the infinity gauntlet in road blocks.

Didn't play anything today, but I watched several videos about the egg hunts. It made me want to look at the music for 2017, which had the most interesting soundtrack in my opinion. I found the origin for Mt. Ignis and Stratosphere Outpost, I couldn't find anything for the others.
Oddly though, the source song for SO differs a bit from the game version. It's all very interesting.
I wonder if the songs were taken from the creators with permission or not. I don't rmember any cited sources ingame, and the music is licensed. It wouldn't be the first time Roblox used music from other things without permission (FF, SM64, Halo), but 2017 was done by local developers, so...

I did Roblox in VR by using Trinus CBVR. You can do it wired or wirelessly, but wired has better framerate nd all that. It's not perfectly smooth and not at all ideal, but it's cool. OT, but I also did it with SWBFII. Mayber I'll try actually playing tommorow.
