The ad idea ended up being a total flop. Ads are all irrelevant and are bidded at such a low CPM that they haven’t even earned $0.01 after several weeks. Plus, they are sketchy, and I don’t want exposing members to garbage like that.
I’m going entirely back to the donation support model with Patreon and PayPal. Please consider supporting the Community through those means or through purchasing HullBreach Studios apps.
In the next few days, everything will be reverted.
Considering that this was a site that was built for old-as-heck hardware, it's not hard to imagine that the click-through rate would be quite low. The website's just too slow.
BUT I do have an idea, and contact me if you want to try out something that I think will halve monthly costs.

IDK what you're idea is, but IMO the best thing for this place (financially, anyway) would be if one of the members of the community were to become wealthy, and was willing to bankroll this whole thing forever. (I'd be willing to. I just need to get wealthy first, lol!)
