I think I'm finally to the point in various other projects that I can take some time to rewrite the SDK Community app for iOS (and give tools for @skunkman to possibly make an Android version). There are so many features in this community that it would take a while to create them all in an app, so it would be best to build it in phases -- or even create multiple separate apps for major features.
What would everyone like to see in the new app? It doesn't even just need to be features from DSiPaint.com and 3DSPaint.com; I'm open to integrating HullBreach Online or components to other apps or games by HullBreach Studios.
Throw any ideas at me!
Also note that I would like to keep the app ad-free, so I'm considering either a flat price or subscription model (with patrons getting vouchers) for a whole suite of features (ones not on the websites) and free for baseline features.
Just checked out the app!
First impressions, not suuuuper impressive (understandably), and the actual view didn’t quite fill my screen, leaving a gap above and below the view part. Haven’t really, really looked at it, just glanced at it, but the notif screen would be a nice add (:
Anyways, I’ll look around the app more right now and see what else I can come up with!
I would be down for an app. I would rather have a flat price than a subscription for an application, but a fee is going to make it inaccessible for some of the younger users on this site. Maybe instead of a required fee have a flat price for certain features.
i think a good basic feature would be able to use your dsi/3dspaint account on the mobile app, along with things like integrating stuff like your discord account for easy forms of contact.
