"What do you mean, you believe me...? I-is he... did he-" Naravius muttered
Markovech sighed "Nakko... has problems..." He glanced back at the table, Nakko was chattong away at Naravius' mother, it scared him how much she seemed to like talking to him, if he's so dangerous, why did his brother bring this boy?
"He has problems? I believe that." Naravius muttered quietly. "If someone is going to kill a group of my friends, they gotta have problems..." Naravius watched Markovechs eyes widen, a small bit of of sadness and fear crept into his otherwise dead expression.
"I- I gotta eat... how about we chat later..." He said, turning into the kitchen while Naravius watched him go to the table, he heard his mother laugh and say something, from the way Markovechs friends reacted (other than Nakko, who was laughing heavily) it seemed she was insulting him. How was he so calm here? After years and years of torment, he'd never fought back, never said a word other than to quietly agree or disagree to make them shut up. His father would spit bitterness at him, while his mother would laugh him out of the house, yet he'd never do anything. It was as if he was missing the one part of him that made him a devil.
Naravius sat down at the table, his girlfriend, Sabbath, smiling with her fangs out, she loved these dinners, mostly because she knew Naravius' parents loved her. He chuckled softly at her, 'she's so beautiful' he thought to himself, before someone caught his gaze. Nakko stopped laughing and talking and started to glare daggers at her.
"Hey, Nakko, she's not yours..." Naravius told him quietly, causing a quiet reaction from his mother. Though he knew his intentions weren't those types, he wanted to hurt her. Nakko glanced up at him and grinned.
"Oh, sorry~" he chuckled grimly "Do you not like me looking at your girlfriend?~" She laughed and Nakko bared his teeth at her, showing them off to her. His teeth were sharp, not like a vampire's fangs, more like a shark, or an predatory animal, he didn't remember them like that, but he didn't remember everything from that night... just the most painful parts
The searing pain in his wounds, his bodies of his friends, their screams of agony, the sound of this boy chanting exorcism after exorcism, they didn't kill them, or send them to hell, he knew that. He was making it more painful. He had a twisted smile on his face. Spitting venom at them. "wretches", "devil scum", "wastes of flesh", "disgusting creatures". He saved Naravius for last, but got sloppy, Naravius escaped. Or Nakko... let him... Was that his plan? He bore a slight resemblance to his brother, and knowing they were friends made Naravius more suspicious of that night.
Did he have a heart, seeing a face somewhat familiar? Or was this some way to warn Markovech of what he was going to do to him?
Naravius felt ill before he even started eating. He glanced down at Teo, he was given a taller chair, which (though he was trying to hide it) he seemed grateful for. He stuffed his face, it wasn't good food, it was just mediocre, so he must've been trying to avoid conversation. Lev wasn't eating, he was a golem, robot-looking thing, so it made sense. His mother and father were complaining about Markovech to each other, and Markovech looked like a ghost Sabbath was chatting to Naravius, thought he was zoned out of her conversation. Nakko was eyeing everyone suspiciously, and it was rather uncomfortable when his eyes rested on Naravius.
If dinner goes the way Naravius thought it would go, tonight would be hell.

NOTE:
The contents of the story are not an attack on anyone religious.
The religion depicted is a fictional one. The characters Teo, Markovech, Nakko and Lev are followers of the god Arnakos, a god of my creation.
Nakko is a bad person, but just because a bad person follows a religion, it does not make it a bad religion.
You are welcome to wait for a more "faith friendly" story to come out. (Planning one atm, so you won't have to wait long!)
I enjoy the detail you put into your writing and the character development. However, I hope you understand that even though I truly enjoy your writing, the subject of this story is one I avoid for religious reasons. Just wanted to let you know it's really good one last time.

I am aware, and I am sorry about that, but I thank you for the compliments, and none of the contents are to be directed towards Christianity or anyone who follows it (I will put out stories that would be more ideal for your faith soon!)

Well, this Christian fantasy nerd certainly doesn't mind reading this kinda story. (Quite the opposite, actually.)
I mean, it's not like I'm going to go out and sacrifice some livestock or virgins to Arnakos or anything (assuming that Arnakos is even that kinda god), but then again I wouldn't go around worshipping the demon god Balroth in my own Master of Death story blog series either, lol!
Anyway, although I certainly wouldn't mind you writing other stuff too, I am looking forward to reading the rest of this story as well, and since @Siling-La liked both parts, I'm guessing that he feels the same way. (And he's like Mr. Christian goody-two-shoes, lol!)

"Mr. Christian goody-two-shoes"? Surprisingly enough, I've never actually been called that before.

Arnakos would probably cry if you sacrificed livestock in his name, he's a minotaurian, a bull.
He's the type of god to get his heighest followers to sign contracts with him (saying you are an exorcist of arnakos, you have immortality, and you are his domain) and fight evil in his name, to achieve glory and gain more followers through acts of kindness and valor.
Nakko is clearly not the exact type Arnakos wanted, but he's strong, and gets plenty of stuff done. (he was hoping he'd change, but the whole "killing stuff to fix stuff" really wasn't the best thing to expose him to at such a vulnerable, it caused him to cope with and eventually exterminate his pain through killing, wether evil or good, it mattered not, as long as blood and tears are shed, and people fear him)

I meant that as a compliment BTW. (You probably already knew that though, lol!)
And if you ever doubt that that is an accurate description of yourself, I remind you to look at your PFP and your profile (minus the part about all of those weapons you've mastered), lol!
