(Warning: The events, people and locations in this story are purely fictional and are not intended on represent any real events or some real country, any similarity with real historical events are purely coincidental)

Everybody who was reading all of these writings about the history of Leoland and my family must know about the beginnings of my great grandpa Juan Alfonso Villavicencio, November 12th of 1955 was the date, when the ship who he was reached the leolandian ports in the city of Puerto Cristo, Capital of the country, he reached such a beautiful city, full of old colonial and some modern buildings, cars, and happy people on the streets, in many parks there was statues of Leonardo José Díaz, a Spanish explorer and conquistador, who discovered the Leolandian archipielago and it's considered the father of the country (And yes, that where the name LEO-land came from).

So Juan Alfonso had some money from his parents, and he must use it smartly, he couldn't waste any cent, so with his money, he rented a small apartment in the city, and he inmmediatly started looking for a job, he went to many type of jobs, and he learned various disciplines, like cleaning, cooking, count money, washing clotches, and many other things in different locations like Restaurants, Homes, Shops, etc.

One year later, he finally could buy a small old car, with all of his savings, but this car got damaged, and he went to a car workshop, the mechanic was such a good and friendly man, he did an excellent job fixing Juan's car, and also said to him:

"Hey mate, i need help, i'm looking for hire a work assistant who could help me, did you know someone, or you know something about fixing cars?"

And Juan replied:

"Really i don't know too much about that but, could you teach me? i'm interested on get a new job"

the mechanic replied:

"Well, i can teach you all that you need"

The months passed, and Juan became an expert on fixing damaged cars of any type.

One day, a car company was looking for new workers, Juan and his partner the mechanic saw it in a advertisment poster, so Juan said:

"Look at that! They're looking for new workers in a car factory, and they promise a well pay, we must apply?"

The mechanic said:

"Yes! finally we're going to have a better job and not being anymore two simple mechanics, let's call to the number!"

Both called and applied, the time passed, and both was hired, they worked into the car assemblement, into the factory, they have very good wages.

But... Juan was very single, yeah, he had friends like the mechanic man but... He was alone in some way... He never found his true love until that time, his years as soldier, he fought in war, and lost friends in the war, he always said to his friends in the work:

-"Y'know? in some way... I feel empty..."

In other side, his good wage allowed him to buy a much better and bigger house than his small old apartment, he moved to a much nicer home, and even if the future looked to be good... he was happy and empty at the same time.

But his good luck doesn't lasted too much, in 1957, the Coup Leaded by Erika Roberta and the Gutiérrez brothers happened, and with the crimes of the new regime, the country was sanctioned by the international community, those sanctions made a serious economic crisis in the country, the poverty and unemployement, and inflation was higher, and the Car Company in where Juan worked was losing money, and being about to close its doors, and in 1959, They fired many workers, because the don't had enough money to still paying their wages, so Juan was fired by the crisis, and he couldn't sell his big beautiful house, because nobody has enough money to buy it.

Those years of international isolation for Leoland were chaotic, Juan survived for his few savings, and for small works like in the past, but he always tried his best.

Fortunately, the crisis was solved after the Leolandian - U.S. Pact, who ended the sanctions, so Leoland could sell its manufactures to the world again, and the Car Company survived the crisis, and starting re-hiring many of its old workers, so Juan saw this, and he could finally get again its old work, and raise again after the national crisis.

"Oh yeah, finally here again! i missed the smell of the hot metals!"

Said Juan when he got back to the factory.

But, even with that, he was still feeling empty inside, he felt that maybe he needed love... Fortunately, his luck would finally change in 1965, and he would finally meed his twin soul...
