My great grandmother Paola Josefina Torres was afraid for her future, her rich husband Rodrigo died, and she must do something to survive, she though the best option would be exit from Mexico, but the United States (the neighbor country) wouldn't be a good option, because she doens't knew to speak english in first place, just spanish, second, she knew about the several racism and xenophobia problems that the U.S. had in that years, so her toughts were like this:
-"No... I can't go to the U.S. Its a bad idea in all the way, i must find a better option"
Then she heard about a beautiful spanish-speaking country with a growing economy, but ironically authoritarian, it was Leoland, she tought she could have a chance in that country, that she just must being quiet and don't say something bad about goverment, and yes, one week after her husband died, she took all of her husband's money and go away, reaching Leoland, during some days of travel in a ship.
She reached the port in Puerto Cristo, and the first thing she did is looking for a home, and she bough an old house in a neighborhood of the city.
Paola also was looking for a job, and into many companies, she found a job being a waitress in a small restaurant at the Puerto Cristo's beach, it was called Mamma mia's gourmet, and was a restaurant of italian food
But in one night of January 5th of 1966, she was working at the nightshift, the restaurant worked almost all the day, but in that moment was about of closing, and the last customer of the night came, she saw it, an educated and beautiful man, who looked as a lovely dude, that man called the attention of Paola, so she inmmediatly went with him and said:
"Can i take your order sir?"
and the man replied:
"Yea lady, a simple lasagna, please... Also, sorry if i came too late, if you want i could get out, you're about to close"
Paola replied and blushed a litte
"Ehm... No.... No sir, just stay there, i will take your order"
Paola went with the chef and said
"A LASAGNA!"
Meanwhile the order was being made in the Kitchen, Paola got close with that man and said:
"You know something? Your hair looks pretty good today"
the man giggled, blushed and replied:
"Heheh... I'm sure you said that to everybody"
So, Paola and that man started to talk a little about them.
Paola said:
"What's your name?"
and the man replied:
"heh... I'm Juan Alfonso, and you?"
and she replied:
"I'm Paola Josefina, where do you come from?"
he replied:
"I'm from Spain, and you?"
and she replied:
"Oh! so you're an inmmigrant? i'm too! i'm from Mexico"
And... During some time they started to talk and talk... About their lifes and many things, until the food was ready and the chef said a little joke to them, with an ironical voice:
"The food is ready! you castilian man, and also, stop flirting, it's gross and this is a familiar place, not a porn club!"
Paola heard that, she felt a little ashamed, but she took the lasagna and gave to Juan and said:
"Here's your order sir... Maybe we could see us again in the future"
Juan said"
"Of course, there's my phone number if you're interested"
and gave her a paper with the number.
And that's how my great grandparents meet, eventually, they had many dates, they talked and eventually fell in love in each other, and got married in February 14th 1968...

If I might ask why would you release something that isn't ready
{just wondering}
In this website is not possible to save a blog without publishing it in the process... (This website was made for run on a toaster like DSI, so nor surprising)
