chambers 2 times longer a day. Dr. Rosenberg turned the corner and spoke up again. "So, see these chambers? This is where you will be tested. This is where we will truely see if you have the Dna we're looking for."
Barry stops talking and opens a door. Lauren can smell the chemicals being used to prepare the room. Her tension increased imminently after she heard what Dr Rosenberg had to say next.
"Do you know what fight or flight is Lauren?" Rosenberg asked, his voice booming through a speaker in the room as he sitting In front of a computer terminal in a separate room with a bulletproof glass window. For good reason.
He pressed a button and a bullet flew directly at Lauren, which she dodged with superhuman speed.
"YES!" Dr. Rosenberg screamed, "That's what you need to do!"
"What the hell!" Lauren screamed through unbridled rage. "I didn't fucking sign up for this!" Lauren started thinking of all of the ways she could kill Rosenburg. There were a lot...
The only issue is if he killed him she would never see her friends again (haha not telling u til the third book)
Dr. Rosenburg clicked a button outside of the room and that's when it all went to hell...
Fire spewed out of each wall and it was slowly coming towards her on the floor.
"Why the hell are you doing this?!" Lauren screams in agony, but then she stops.
"Wait, why'd she stop screaming?" Dr. Rosenbergs head scientist asks. "She stopped because I drained the oxygen, and the fire will eat the oxygen that is in there away. That will hopefully drag out her primal instinct"What did I do!" Lauren tries to say but can't.
The bullets are still flying through the air, and she's still dodging them at what can only be considered light speed.
"Stop the machine!" Dr. Rosenburg screams.
The machine stopped and Laurn ran out screaming.
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME?!" Lauren screams between deep breaths.
"We brought out your primal instict."
"I DON'T CARE, I COULD'VE DIED" Lauren shouts.
"Well it doesn't matter, you didn't die, now let's go back."
As they walk back Lauren can't help but think of that purple fox that saved her life when she could've died...
That's a story for another day though.
"She stopped because I drained the oxygen, and the fire will eat the oxygen that is in there away.
it's just this part
6/10
It has a good plot and a good story but Logic It's true that fire eats oxygen But you say you drain the oxygen So theoretically you're pumping oxygen to the flames I am guessing
and if you do not then your Flames will be impossible
Just throwing some logics don't hate me
