I have no idea what to categorize this blog, so I'll go with short story, for now.
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––—––
John McAfee was born in September 18, 1945
(9/18/1945)
on an American Air Force base.
(↑Earliest verifiable picture I could find.)
His father was very abusive, and when John McAfee was 17, his father committed suicide.
After that, he (John McAfee) started to get interested in computers in the 1980s.
He had revolutionized the computer by adding a program that could detect viruses and delete them automatically! He called the detection code, "VirusScan"
(Keep in mind during those times, there wasn't so many anti-viruses.)
Later on he founded McAfee®, an anti-virus company.
He struck it rich by spreading his anti-virus, ( now called McAfee® )
During this time, he had accumulated 5 wifes (not simultaneously)
John McAfee has also said that he has 42 children (but you can't believe everything on the internet!)
But comes with fame, comes controversy.
During his later life he committed tax evasion and some other illegal corruptions.
During 2010s, he fled to Belize to escape tax evasion.
From his profits he had bought a mansion on a Belizean island.
During his time in Belize he had became associated with the drug cartel and had a methamphetamine factory.
Here is a picture of John McAfee during that time:
This is finally when the Belizean police take action.
They arrested John McAfee.
They put him in prison for owning illegal drugs, right? Wrong. They let him off.
Later on, reports from his neighbor, Gregory Faull saying, "John McAfee lets out his four wild aggressive dogs out and they try to eat my parrot."
A day after, the dogs are poisoned—possibly by Gregory Faull, and furthermore, he has a fatal gunshot wound to his forehead.
John McAfee was the only person who would've done such a thing.
Now John McAfee has to run away, a second time.
He runs away but doesn't get far, as he gets caught by Guatemalan bordel patrol for trying to illegally cross Guatemala.
He is scheduled to be deported back to Belize—but then he fakes a heart attack and is on a airplane headed to America. He then lives the hot-shot life in Miami.
A year later he is caught and imprisoned in Spain on behalf of the US Department of Justice in October 5th, 2020.
On June 23rd, 2021, he supposedly committed suicide while still in prison.
This is not the end though, as his ex-wife, Janice McAfee, says that John McAfee didn't commit suicide, but was rather murdered.
John McAfee has also stated that if he ever committed "suicide" that it was faked.
-- "If I ever commit "suicide", I was "whack'd by the government."
This is an interesting and informative blog to be sure, but it unfortunately overlooks the key details that resulted in all of those conspiracy theories regarding Mr. McAfee's alleged “suicide” in 2021.
1. On November 30th 2019—prior to his alleged “suicide” on June 23rd 2021—John McAfee said in a tweet the following:
Getting subtle messages from U.S. officials saying, in effect: "We're coming for you McAfee! We're going to kill yourself". I got a tattoo today just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn't. I was whackd. Check my right arm.
2. John McAfee ran as a presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party twice--once in 2016 and again in 2020--and like most Libertarians, John was an outspoken critic of U.S. foreign policy, the post-9/11 surveillance state, and the U.S. government in general.
(He even appeared multiple times as a guest on different shows on Russia Today.)
3. Although he was a obviously a bit eccentric, AFAIK there never has been a convincing explanation as to why Mr. McAfee would've taken his own life, nor why he would've explicitly stated in 2019 that if he was ever reported to have done so that it was a cover up for his assassination by U.S. government officials, whereas there are countless fairly obvious reasons why the U.S. government would've wanted Mr. McAfee dead.
