The Yukiji or “Snow Runes” are an ancient runic alphabet used by the Yuki-onna during the Crystallian Era hundreds of millions of years ago, and as their name implies, they were primarily used for writing messages or runic enchantments in the snow.
The Yukiji alphabet is a purely phonetically based one, meaning that each rune has a specific pronunciation, and so if one were to use this alphabet to write in any other language, the spelling of words could very greatly based on their pronunciation.
There are 37 runes in the Yukiji alpha in total—14 vowels and 23 consonants—and each of them and their proper pronunciations are listed in the spoiler below.
