In this short blog series, I’ll explore the lives of a range of historical figures—from rebels to rulers, shedding light on their contributions to the world.
Chapter I will explore the life of a king: the Leper King of Jerusalem, Baldwin IV. His story is one of perseverance, leadership, and triumph in the face of unimaginable adversity. Despite being diagnosed by leprosy at a young age, Baldwin IV ascended to the throne and led his kingdom through critical battles during the Crusades. A key figure of Christianity during that period.
