Hiclousia
As I move through the forests that envelopes God's magnificent mountains a feeling pride swells deep within my soul
I continue to travel up with the prettiest things around me
The beautiful and bountiful, blooming and blossoming meadows
The mossy covered rocks the deepest and brightest shade of green
The twigs and branches that litter the mountain forest floor and snap loudly in the silence of beauty
The trek is exhausting and I fear I make not make it out. My body so weak I want to sleep for ever
I take a break slumped against a mighty oak tree and my mind slips into a reverie - I am the mighty hawk accending through the sky
I know i must go on but my body wants to give up, but I know that I must continue for if I don't I will feel defeat, like a sinking ship shot down by the ultimate enemy - surrender
I continue on and on until I reach the peak and I feel something new
It rises and flows through my body like the raging river with the waterfall that rapidly decends and empties into the sparkling lake below
As I stand atop the highest mountain peak that I have ever climbed and admire the hawks soaring by, I realize the feeling flowing through me is hiclousia, something I would have never experienced if I just gave up before I truly tried my hardest
The journey of mine was my highest endeavor
