PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THE APOSTROPHES.
What’s up, good people of Paint?
You may remember my old blog series Drunk Cooking with Asparagus. If you do, welcome back. I’m sober now but still cooking—in fact, cooking more. Drinking was super bad for my mental health and, unsurprisingly, worse for my physical health.
If you’re unfamiliar, I’d get super drunk, cook some food, and write about it. It makes a much better YouTube video than a blog, but still fun.
Anyway, I sat here for a while thinking, “What can I do for a blog? What old poem could I dredge up? Do the people want that?” (No, not really.) Do the people want this?! Probably not, but I’m giving it to ya!
I’ve been fighting the flu this week, so I ultra didn’t want to eat or cook anything. However, I knew I had to.
SO. Today I’m air-frying grilled cheese sandwiches. I’m cooking for two people, so adjust accordingly. Also, spiffy it up however you wanna. I’m broke this week.
What you’ll need:
• 4 slices of white bread
• American cheese
• One can of tomato soup
• Air fryer
• Hands
You’ll really want that last one because if you lack one or both of your hands, it can be kind of hard to make a sandwich. However, I’m sure if you lack a hand or two, you’re already used to life without hands. I trust you can make this journey.
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees.
Step 2: Cook your tomato soup until it’s hot.
Step 3: Prepare your sandwiches. I like using butter, some use mayo—both is best.
Step 4: Put sandwiches in the air fryer. When you’re ready to put them in, add a little weight on top because, as I learned, bread is light. You will start questioning why it smells like burnt bread, then realize half your bread has been burnt to a crisp. Oops.
Okay, better to follow a real recipe for this one. When my brain is less flu-addled, I plan on writing more of these. After all, what better way to find cheap, easy cooking methods than 3DSPaint?
Truly, this was a horrible re-intro to Drunk—Sober Cooking with Asparagus.

I forgot to actually say how I liked the sandwiches!!!
I didn’t put enough butter on them, so they were too sweet bc white bread. But next time, more salt too!

Good idea, lol!
IDK if you like spicy food or not, but there's this DELICIOUS spicy mayo that (to me) tastes good on dang near everything, and I'd probably try using that instead of regular mayo or butter. (And maybe with some pepperjack cheese, too.)
