I'm not sure why I made this blog, but thank MattTheTekie for half inspiring me. Who knows, maybe review blogs are my style.
I first came across this McDonald's meal around August of 2024. I was proper wrecked and starving after volunteering at a rowing summer scheme, so I went to the nearby McDonald's and decided to switch up my order and get a McCrispy. £7 later, it was mine. The entire meal. I was crazy excited so I immediately sat down and started.
The first bite was a little dry, but I had taken a bite from the corner of it, so it was all crisp and no chicken. Although it wasn't very pleasant, it didn't put me off. I still found it tasty. The next bite, however, was bliss. The juiciness of the chicken was at perfect balance with the crispiness of the, well, chicken. It wasn't too hard to bite, but it wasn't some mushy mess either. I thought I had ascended above with just the taste. Never have I ever felt a better texture in my life. Biting it was so satisfying, hearing the slight crunch given off by the crispiness. The black pepper seasoning also gave it just the smallest hint of spice, but not as spicy as the McSpicy (review incoming). The mix of flavours had removed any blandness you would expect from normal chicken, despite the fact that I removed the sandwich sauce and the lettuce.
Now onto the bun. Visually, it was very pleasing. The distribution of sesame seeds made the bun look much fuller, and removed the fact that it looks naked without them. I personally love sourdough buns, so this bun being made of sourdough was the cherry on top. The bumps on said bun (would bumps be the right name? I'm not sure) also added to the aesthetic of it. In regards to the taste, It's what you'd expect with McDonald's. It was pretty much the same as normal buns, but I admit that it was slightly better. It wasn't special, but it wasn't too thick nor too thin.
For the overall look, it is very nice to look at. The only problems I would have is that the bun looks a little bit too small for the chicken, and that it's almost about to topple off. The lettuce also looks a little off, but I hate lettuce (don't call me a child) so who am I to judge.
Overall and in conclusion, the McCrispy is by far the best sandwich from McDonald's. The absolute sorrow I feel everytime I finish eating one is horrible, as I know the sandwich is no more, and that all good things come to an end. I would recommend you try it at least once in your life, preferably before you get old and your taste buds get all dead. You never know, it could change your life. I know it's now my favourite item on the menu and I simply must get one every time I take a trip to the golden arches.
@Thi500 may i ask why you declined the blog? I'm not defying it, but blogmins generally needa give reason.

IDK, but I just corrected the decision to not feature this. If there was anything actually wrong with it, surely he or another member of the admin team would've brought it up by now.
(And if they take issue with my decision to feature it, hopefully they will actually be willing to explain why.)

YW.
If any possibly semi-legitimate (or illegitimate) sounding reason for rejecting it had been provided, I wouldn't have done so, BTW.
(Fortunately for me, no reason whatsoever was given for doing so.)

It's 6 paragraphs, the grammar looks good, and it's an overall pretty well-written blog. Also, a review if the McCrispy us just as much a topic of public interest (if not more) than the topics of countless other blogs that have been featured, so I see nothing wrong with this blog, personally.
And again, if any admin disagrees with my decision to do this and can provide a clear reason why, I will respect their judgement on this matter.
