WHO IS HE
Joshua Block (worldoftshirts on social media) is a popular TikToker from New York, USA. He posts multiple times a day on TikTok. He is a widely controversial influencer who has commited multiple acts of animal cruelty and discrimination. He originally made videos of "coffee reviews and walking around," but in 2023, he very rapidly succumbed to alcoholism.
CONTROVERSY
His first controversy was in 2021, when Josh, during a livestream, repeatedly threw a fish on the ground and stomped on the fish for about a minute. This obviously went viral, and he soon posted an apology video. In this video, he claimed that the fish was already dead. “I sincerely apologise about stomping the fish. The fish was dead but it was still wrong. Please forgive me. I’m sorry, it was a very terrible thing I did.” Said Josh in the apology video.
Like I said before, Joshua block has also committed multiple acts of discrimination. As of time of writing, Josh has said the N-word 35 times on video alone. Once, while streaming with Mr. Based, he shouted the N-word multiple times in a row. One other time, he directed these slurs at an African American person and also screamed death threats at them.
In around August/September 2024, a video went viral of Josh Stomping on top of a car in the middle of the night.
THE ALCOHOL PROBLEM
As I had mentioned, in 2023, Josh became an alcoholic. Nowadays, all of his TikTok videos consist of him taking shots or just straight up drinking anything in general. Many videos have surfaced of Josh committing horrible acts while being drunk. A few months ago, Josh went to Japan, and while being drunk, began having a major breakdown in an alleyway, following someone telling him to "put the fries in the bag" (more on that later). He was seen smashing his head against a door and violently screaming. Soon, a Japanese local got hold of Josh and put him under citizen's arrest. During this, he can be heard screaming "I can't breathe," mimicking George Floyd's arrest and death in 2020. Another video then emerged of Josh in a Japanese police station, but he was later released. His alcohol problem is so bad that he has developed pancreatitis. Despite this, he continues to drink.
JOSH IN NORTHERN IRELAND
About 4 months ago, Joshua Block did a trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland. During his trip, he uploaded various videos of, you guessed it, him taking shots and drinking in multiple pubs and even in the middle of the street. Obviously, people tracked Josh down and began harassing and trolling Josh, again using the "Put the fries in the bag" phrase (I promise, I'm coming to that). Multiple videos of this sprung up, and this was by far Josh's most viral trip.
THE FRIES IN THE BAG
I have mentioned it multiple times before and I think it deserves its own section. Almost every video online that people have posted about Josh, they all say the same "put the fries in the bag" phrase to him. The phrase originated on TikTok, and it essentially means that they need to get a job. No one is really sure why, but every time this phrase is directed at Josh, he goes into a fit of range and screams like a maniac. There are also various occasions where Josh chases the person or tries to physically attack them, although he isn't the strongest in the world. It has become a trend for people to scream this phrase at Josh and film his reaction.
CONCLUSION AND MY OPINION
Let's start with my opinion of Josh. Do I feel sorry for him? No. Not at all. Although he has ASD, he is still mentally insane and extremely immature. I admit that sometimes people go too far with the pranks, but Josh is not mentally fit. To conclude, Josh is extremely mentally unwell and the best course for him is to put down the bottle and fix his life before it's too late. If you know me or have read my past blogs, you'd know that I am HORRIBLE at writing conclusions.
