Admittedly, both of those blogs are kinda “obsolete” now, as my RL has changed considerably since back then.
From the time when I first joined Paint in April 2019 up until sometime in the summer (I think July?) of 2020, I was sneaking on Paint using my Old 2DS by hooking up to our neighbor's (now nonexistent) open Wi-Fi hotspot. My mom did know about this at the time (I could always trust Mom), and when my O2DS stopped working in the summer of 2020, she started actively helping me to get online, by sneaking me her phone whenever she wasn't using it.
Like I indicated in those blogs, me and Mom had also exchanged E-mails at the time--I wouldn't have even been able to make an E-mail account of my own if it weren't for her letting me use her phone--but that is ultimately what got me busted when Dad decided to violate her privacy by rummaging through her E-mails.
After that, given that I was a 26 year old adult at the time, my dad decided to be pragmatic about it, and allowed me to continue to be active on Paint. The catch was, however, that I could only do so with his explicit permission, and so any time I wanted to get online, I would have to ask him for permission to use Mom's phone to do stuff on Paint.
(I assume you see the problem there, right?)
Although I mostly abided by this, that was a relatively short-lived phase, as Mom's phone (it was a BlackBerry) stopped working sometime in early 2021. 2021 was a pretty crappy year for both me and Paint overall, despite the fact that it was the year that DC first joined Paint as well.
(His empire didn't really begin until later though, and it was pretty dead here when he had first joined.)
Shortly after her BlackBerry stopped working, Mom had got a new phone, which I was forbidden by dad from using. Instead, he broke out an old, unused tablet of “his” (Mom actually got it as a gift for working at TriHealth for over 25 years, although Dad claimed it as his), and decided to let me use it to access Paint instead. This gave him complete control over when I could get online, however, as our neighbor's open Wi-Fi hotspot had long since disappeared, and he had always kept his own Wi-Fi locked up tight, and I would have to ask him to open it up for me whenever I wanted to get online.
That Hell lasted up until May if last year when UwUQueen sent me this AWESOME smartphone in the mail. Prior to that, however, I had also been able to get online other ways at certain points, such as when (during the turbulent events preceding my mom's death) my grandpa had lent me his iPhone for a bit, as well as me sneaking online using Mom's new phone (the one I was forbidden from using) as well, although that mostly happened after Mom's death because I didn't want her getting in trouble for that.
(She had told me the password to her phone though, although Dad changed it eventually after busting me sneaking on it to access Paint several times, long after Mom's death.)
At present, however, I have a smartphone of my own (thanks to my AWESOME besty UwUQueen), an Old 3DS of my own (thanks to MattTheTekie), and a T-Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (also thanks to MattTheTekie), which gives me several different ways to get online on my own now. Using my phone, I can either my Firsty Free eSIM to get online, or I can use a physical SIM that Rlad116 gave me to do so, the latter of which can allow my phone to be used as a Wi-Fi hotspot as well. Additionally, both my phone and my 3DS can hook up to the T-Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, and although I don't really use it anymore—although I should—my old tablet should be able to connect to the internet using either my phone's hotspot or the hotspot device's hotspot as well.
Have you tried moving out? (That sounds kinda hostile sorry if it sounds it)

It doesn't, but yeah, I have thought about it for quite some time now, and the only reason I haven't already is because I'm worried about my sister's bunnies.
(And also my dad, too.)

Yeah, I actually prefer to use my 3DS on here sometimes. IDK why, but it just feels more natural to me, IG.
(There are obviously fewer compatibility issues on the smartphone, though.)
