-Plasma Pistol The Covenant equal to the Magnum, the Plasma Pistol actually surpasses the Magnum in the sense that it can immobilize almost any vehicle on a full charge, and insta-kill a shield in the same way.
-Plasma Turret Aside from carrying it a different way, it's sort of redundant of the Plasma Rifle, except it does a little more damage, and doesn't overheat.
-Brute Shot Another explosive weapon. Not even half as good as the others, but you could manage if you had to. The Brutes obviously do.
UNSC
-Assault Rifle Pretty good weapon to use in a firefight. Wouldn't reccomend it for long-range, it's very terrible at that.
-Battle Rifle The BR is better at long-range than it's little brother, the Assault Rifle, and shoots in a different way, as well.
-Shotgun This awesome gun is actually best at super-close combat. Insta-kill at melee range.
-Chain Gun/Machine Gun Turret Of course, the term "chain gun" comes from Halo Wars, and is what I usually call it when it's snapped off it's stand. Good in a firefight.
-Spartan Laser Ah, yes. The trump card of UNSC weaponry. Insta-kill on any body part it hits, shoots straight on through enemies, and minor splash damage in the case of hitting a nearby wall to the enemy. Best at long range, and medium range if you are camoflauged and/or hidden. Has the capacity to kill vehicles in one shot, if fired at the soft spots. (Example: Hit a Wraith at it's back or un-armored parts of the sides)
-SMG (Stupid Machine Gun) Yes, it's stupid. It might kill 5-9 Grunts, but they're terrible against enemy players.
-Sniper Rifle Just like the Covenant Beam Rifle, it's used for sniping. You will have to reload, but you won't have to worry about overheating.
-Rocket Launcher Fire these at targets, they go bang, plain and simple.
-Magnum Pretty fail, but you could manage if you dual-wield 'em
