OK, I will now start copy/pasting points from Savants admin blog then explaining them and pointing stuff out about them
Game Rules-
1. There will be 2 types of games, I expect every game admin to adhere to this:
- Big Game, at least 20 questions, winner gets 3 winner points, 2nd place gets 2 winner points, and 3rd place gets 1 winner point.
OK, this type of game should only be attempted if you have a lot of time at your hands, have access to a PC and your DSi, and have a failsafe connection. Choose a subject with a vast range of questions you can choose from that can be easy, medium, and/or hard. Let people know its going to be a big game before they enter, and try to make sure you have several players (at least around 5)
When you press WIN make sure you only press it an amount of times equal to the amount of points you're giving because if you are found to be giving away points, you most probably will lose your job.
- Little Game, 10 questions, no more, no less. Winner gets 1 winner point, 2nd and 3rd place get nothing.
This is your average game. Nothing strange to be said here.
2. Games must have a coherent theme.
- Examples of what is acceptable: Video Game Trivia, Geography, TV Show Trivia, Science & Nature, Pokemon Trivia, Acronyms
I would assume Mt. Hildar and Hullbreach Online fall under the category of Video Game Trivia so those aspects of the site should be allowed.
- What we do NOT want to see is: Random Questions, SDK Trivia (like who is HB’s wife?), Questions that a 3 year old could answer (what heats up the Earth?)
This means, don't ask about admins/users/overlords, don't host a game in which each question isn't related to the other, and don't make things too easy, though you can make things easier if your audience finds every question hard.
Although if you were to host one with the theme Trail of Questions in which each question is taken from the answer of the one before it but isnt necessarily related to it, I think that would be OK, but I need to ask Sav. (example, Who's the ruler of the mushroom kingdom, Peach. What other princess was in Brawl, Zelda. What Zelda game didn't have Zelda in it, Links Awakening. What platform was Links Awakening on, GameBoy. Why didnt they make a GameGirl? ect.....)
Your Behavior:
1. If your name appears on the chat room ban list, your game master adminship will be stripped away. You may contest the ban to an overlord, and it will be looked into.
Be careful!
2. You must host a minimum of 3 games per week.
Now for some pointers from me.
When you host a game, save the hosting page to your favorites in case you accidentally close it or something.
