i was sitting here thinking
of the words i wanted to say
but they just wouldnt come out right
so i found a different

i got a piece of paper
and i wrote this poem for you
but theres no way to thank u
for everything you do

for always bein nice to me
and staying by my side
and helping me fix my problems
and never leaving me behind

for accepting my thots and feelings
though u mite not understand
for never giving up on me
and being my best friend

for always making me laugh
for always letting me cry
and saying that you'd miss me
if i were to die

and how u take care of me
ur my shining star
and tho its so incredible
thats just the way u are

evrything u mean to me
u could nevr kno
in all the ways youve changed my life
i could nevr show

before i get too mushy
its time for me to go
but before i leave this ink-filled page
theres one thing u should kno

as long as we are living
no matter wen or where
if u ever need me
just call and i'll b there

i'll climb a thousand mountains
and swim a hundred seas
anything to b there
cuz u've been there for me
