Many members on Sdk mostly complain about admins in some type of forums(messaging.comments.blogs.etc).But have members ever thought about looking at the admins perspective instead of thier own? It's very easy to point the finger at an admin but an admins job is NOT simple at all.Members think being an admin is great face the reality IT'S NOT.Being an admin is a job and you have to put personal relationships aside and do what you're called to do sometimes admins even have to ban a family member or a close friend.Admins are not bad guys thier like officers trying to get criminals off the street but in this case its rule breakers on SDK's chatrooms. If members followed rules then maybe there will be no need for admins but we dont live in a perfect world we need admins. I interviewed some Admins so SDK members can get a better glimpse on what admins go through everyday and hopefully after this blog learn to appreciate them.
Vermillions Statement: "Admins are members too.We are no more special than a regular member. The only difference is a job and a colored name in the chatroom"
Q1(RedMist)-Do you think members have the wrong perspective about adminship being an easy job?-Yes i do,I find it annoying because members dont understand whats admins go through and our job as admins is to stop chaos even if the downfall is people hate you for it.
Q2Electric) How do you feel when you give a member a warning and they dont listen?-I feel sad because I just want to steer members in the right direction of chatroom etiquette and keep them from recieving a 24 hour time out known as a ban
Q3Commander) How do you feel when members bash admins on thier profile?-I feel it is very immature disrespectful and not needed
I just laugh at when members try bashing/trolling me because majourity of the time it's broken english...or as they would say "txt tlk" which i can barely understand from a few.
