Hours later, we arrived at the pyramid and I was starved. Amy tossed me an apple and said “Eat up, this is gonna long day!” While I was eating I had time to check out my surroundings. The pyramid was colossal and the stones were chapped. Other than that there was just sand. “Take out you drill,” Amy said, “And start drilling.” So I did. I walked for a while to find a good drilling place. I stopped because below me felt hollow. I stomped my feet and sure enough, there was sound. “Amy!” I called, “Come here!” She came and as soon as she came close to me, she felt it too. “What are you waiting for? Drill!” So I did and sure enough, we fell through a hole and landed on a cold stone floor. I can’t tell you my surroundings because it’s pitch black. Amy tossed me something while saying, “It’s a flashlight. Shake it to turn it on.” I shook it and it turned to life. We started to walk around when suddenly I felt a whip of cold air. “Amy?” I asked. “Yep, I felt it too; pass one off your Infra-red Detectors.” She replied. I put one on and gave one to her. All of a sudden, a figure charged at me. I did a back flip and jumped over the figure. Meanwhile could see Amy fighting too. The person that tried to tackle me the punched me in the face. I staggered backwards then punched him, rolled so that his back was towards me and elbowed him in the side. Then I jabbed him at his pressure point and he fainted. I saw Amy fighting and she did the same as me and made the person faint. I walked over to her and she was dusting herself off. “Come on let’s go.” She said. “Wait!” someone said, “You have passed the first test, now move on to the next.” A portal opened and we stepped through it. For the first time we could actually see the room we were in. There were five doors and a sign in the middle of the room. We walked over to read it. It read:
One door leads to the monster that you must defeat, two doors lead to your death one door leads out of the pyramid a one will unlock when you defeat the monster.
I took out my x-ray and looked for the room with monster. “It’s the middle one,” I said, “You ready?” I asked Amy but she was already waiting at the door. We walked in and immediately a sword appeared in my hands and a bow and arrow appeared in Amy’s. Right after that a giant bear with a crystal on its back appeared. I ran towards one of its legs and slashed it with all of my might and strangely the whole leg disappeared. Then it used its other leg and smacked me so hard I went flying across the room. I saw Amy shooting arrows at its head. I got back up and charged. The bear swung its paw at me again but this time I was prepared. I simply jumped on its leg and ran up to its back. It tried to shake me off but it was too late, I stabbed the crystal on its back and it froze, then turned into dust and so did out weapons. We walked out of the room victorious. I search for the room with the portal and we entered it and entered the portal. We entered a room with a glowing figure. “Only one of you will be moving forward. You will be playing a game of chess against each other. Whoever loses will be teleported out of the pyramid. Now, begin!” the figure then turned into a chess table. Hours passed and it was a brutal game, though in the end, I won. “Good luck.” Amy said. She shook my hand then disappeared. A portal opened behind me and I stepped through it. The room the portal to me was dark, except for a glowing light. I walked closer to it; it was ‘The Medallion of Time’. I am the medallion of time; I can only be used once. What would you like to see?” It asked with no emotions. “Who killed my father?” I asked. “Let’s find out” the medallion said.
