I know I said I'd be reviewing Game Boy but I'll do that next time. Ahh the SNES. The NES had its faults, and now Nintendo learned. Its time for the REAL deal. Nintendo realeased the "Super Nintendo" and let me say, It's worthy of that title. Oh yes, from now on, I will be ranking the systems on a scale from Dung to God-worthy as well as adding an "Other" section.
Games Library:
......Wow. This is... you can't describe this in words. Super Metroid. Super Mario RPG. LoZ: A link to the Past. Donkey Kong Country. Castlevania IV. Everything about this consoles games are perfect. Im sure I left out some games but if I said EVERY good game on the SNES, then this section alone would take up 400 pages.
Game Library: Accepted. No Contest.
Graphics: The SNES finally leaped from the poor-quality 8-bit and doubled it. Gamers were excited at the better graphics as they enhanced the feeling of many games. Castlevania IV is a perfect example of this.
Graphics: Accepted
Sound: This was, perhaps, the biggest advance from NES. No longer were there such annoying SFX or plinky music. Everything sounded much more realistic.
Sound: Accepted
Multiplayer: Still two controller ports, but a lot more games you can play with someone else simultaniously.
Multiplayer: Accepted
Other: Everything about the console.
Other: Accepted
Well, the NES was at the hieght of its popularity when Nintendo released this masterpiece. Everything about this console is perfect. Buy as many SNES games off Virtual Console as you can, for I can tell you, you will be satisfied.
I consider Super NES to be the Renaissance of video games. Nothing touched it beforehand and nothing has touched it since that point. Most of my favorite games are on the Super NES.
