We in the human race have only one TRUE goal: Perfection. Why is that? It is because we are the topdogs on Earth and therefore must be perfect at EVERYTHING. We must make perfect grades, wear perfect clothes, look perfect, even ACT perfect. If we are not perfect we are frowned upon by others. If you say a wrong word, you are frowned upon. If you say go out with a not-so-hot girl(or guy) you are frowned upon. You must meet everyone's expectations to be popular or must be around the perfect people to be popular. The only way to be accepted into some colleges is to have perfect grades. Also if you dont get a higher education you are again, frowned upon. In to day's society we must be perfect, be educated, and know everyone in order for you to be succesful. I think our species would do much better if we didnt frown upon those that dont have those qualities but looked at them from a different light.
