Ever since i have been on DSiPaint, I have been able to make some friends, but mostly lose them. Why, you ask? Because I am only 9 years old. I think people all of a sudden hate me because of atleast one of the following reasons.
1. They are afraid i will destroy their reputation
2. They want to hang out with older people to seem more mature
3. They just hate younger kids like me o-o
But, I have been able to find quite a few great friends who like me the way I am. Remember guys, I'm a human like you. I do similar things to you. Heck, I even do things you can't do! So if theres ever a younger user out there who doesn't really have a friend, try to hang out with them, you'd be surprised at what you could learn
Seriously....i don't give a crap ur 10, 11, 12, 9, what counts is the maturity, before they told me their ages i tought big money and halliane were both 13, 14, but never expected 11~10, because they really act as mature ppl...
In chatrooms i try to give attention to everyone that gives me it, a Hello or a Hi is enough to make me answer back, when i accidentally ignore people, mostly on crowed chatrooms, events, talking to 2 or more on people diferent subjects and PMING, i really feel bad if i ignore someone by accident...
Thats why i try to always keep checking and scrolling the messages when i am multi-tasking o.e
If you said hi and i ignored you someday please don't be upset, it will ALWAYS be accidentally and it'll always have a good reason o.e
There is a reason for this. People feel uncomfortable when someone under the age of 10 is on. It's not really that sort of environment, though you probably know all the stuff already. 9 is a bit too young I must say, however judging by your grammar etc. I would have said you were older. Maybe if you didn't go around saying your actual age this problem wouldn't have occurred. I would normally say age doesn't matter but I usually only say that when the person is above 10.
you pose a good point Sher...sometimres ppl feel that if another is younger they aren't worth the time, but truthfully, you can learn a lot from someone who is younger.
