Ok, to start off, I've played like 5 different SMB games. I played one for the original Nintendo, 2 for the GBA, NSMB DS, and now NSMB Wii. My favorite is Wii. Now, for the review.
Graphics: It's a side-scrolling game, BUT Nintendo somehow made some of the characters look 3-D! So, they are pretty good. 9.5/10
Controls: You can use either the Wiimote held sideways, or use the nunchuck/Wiimote combo. They are pretty good, you can shake the remote to do a little jump-attack, pick something up, or twirl into the air. 9/10
Gameplay: It is like all the other SMB games. Just, the Toad Houses have little mini games to get the items and in some levels you have to rescue Toads. The major change though, is the Multiplayer. There is Co-op, Free For All, and Coin Battle to choose from. 10/10
Misc: I like the new power-ups. The Propeller Mushroom is my favorite. There are a multitude od items to get, including the Mini Mushroom, Penguin Suit, Fire and Ice Flowers, normal mushroom, and Star. Sometimes, you may even find a Yoshi to ride! Also, with the Star Coins you get, you can buy hints from Peaches Castle.
All in all, this is a must get for any Mario fan! It still has many challenges, even for an advanced player.
