In this blog I will teach you how to draw your very own chibi charactors. Before we begin, you'll need some tips of mine. If you want to make an animation of this charactor, you'll need to be able to draw them in every angle, to do this you will need to get comfortable drawing them and make their design fairly simple. Some ways to keep it simple is don't color the hair or clothes, don't make complicated clothing or hair you may not be able to draw that again. On to the lesson...
1) Start with a circle, but draw it lightly most of it will be erased.
2) Draw a rectangle for the body, but draw it lightly most of it will be erased.
3) Draw the face BEFORE the hair, this makes your drawing expirenece MUCH easier.
4) Draw the neck and arms, the neck should be as thick as your dsi stylus and short, make sure the shoulders curve where they meet the neck. The arms should look short/long depending on you. If their short they will look similar to a small thumb.
5) The legs are completly up to you, whether their short and stuby, or tall and thin it's up to you.
6) The hair is one of the most difficult parts, it is always higher than your circle. Don't make it boring like a block, try to add spikes/waves to it.
I hope you enjoyed this blog, and I hope it helped. These are my personal tips, so they might not be the right style for you. Don't worry if you are bad at drawing I was VERY bad at drawing just a few monthes ago, look at me now.
