ban hammer - a large weapon wielded by chat mods that can smash your chat, posting, and tWiit rights for a whole day
banfest - successive bans by a chat mod

Hullbreach* - the creator and maintainer of the this website and all its SDK affiliates; also refers to Hullbreach Online, the space-themed MMORPG
lockbot* - user whose sole purpose it seems is to /lockrequest on BB threads
lurking*(chat context) - viewing a chat without chatting
minimod* - non-admin who acts like one in the hopes of becoming one
ninja-ing - lurking done by chat mods which can involve anonymous warnings
Overlord* - administrator with power over the entire site; only known Overlords are Hullbreach, SavantInamorata, Skunkman, MissGiGi, Mrs. Skunk; also refers to the text RPG game
paintmin - DSiPaint moderator who deletes inappropriate paints
perma'd/perma-banned - having one's account deactivated/disabled for an indefinite period of time; the ultimate punishment on the website
Savii - customizable avatars used around the site
Savii Bucks - a Savii currency; difficult to earn
Savii Points - a Savii currency; earned through various actions on the site
Savmin - or "Saviimin"; a moderator for the Saviis who deletes inappropriate Saviis/auctions
SDK* - system development kit, a bundle of files that can be used for homebrew projects; also refers to DSiPaint, WiiOperaSDK, and 3DSPaint
SDKMail - the messaging system
Secretary - admin who answers questions/complaints at the website's Helpdesk
Terminator - admin who has the ability to perma-ban; an uncommon admin position
TMJ* - The Mystical Journey, a Norse/fantasy MMORPG being created for the DSi/3DS browsers
trashing* - intentionally voting on particular paints/sprites to increase/decrease their ratings
tWiit - a TWiiter status update
TWiiter - the SDK version of Twitter where one can post status updates in a variety of threads
