Download the programs listed in part one. Now we get to the fun stuff!
Run AdvanceMap. It will bring up a page with a whole bunch of stuff. Click "file" and "Open Rom".
After opening the ROM, click on the folder to the left named "0".
It will bring up all of the cities and routes. Click on the town you want to edit.
This will bring up a tileset and a map of the place you clicked. Use the tileset to edit the sprites. If needed, click on "Movement Permissions" and change where you can or can't move. Do this until you are satisfied.
Click on the last tab on top of the map. Here, you can change the music, town name, and more. Congrats, you just made your own map. Continue with all of the maps and your game will be partly complete.
