For those of you who have been waiting, the rules for this years VGC world tournament have been announced. These are the rules for Japan's Video Game World Qualifier Tournament. Since the US tournaments typically adopt the rules, this is what I strongly believe will be the VGC rules.
Only Pokemon from Isshu can be used (excluding Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genosect).
Each match is a double battle, though the amount of Pokemon that can be used in a match is not mentioned. It might be "bring six Pokemon and use four" like in the past.
Pokemon should be Level 50. Pokemon higher than that will be lowered to Level 50. Pokemon Level 49 and below will remain at the same level.
You can't use duplicate Pokemon or Items.
You can't change your Pokemon, Items, etc. during the tournament.
When B/W are released in the US I will make a return after a long time off the site in February. When I'm back I'll host hopefully one the biggest wifi tournaments ever on this site using these rules. I look forward to seeing people signing up later.

I disagree, of course the rules are copy and pasted. That's why they are official. (Hint hint) And as for friend code begging, it's more of an advertising. I did mention a tourny, so fc are clearly needed.
