The Hunger Games Trilogy is a great series. The series consists of 3 books: The Hunger Games (Book 1), Catching Fire (Book 2), and Mockingjay (Book 3).

The ENTIRE series is SO AMAZING!!! Let's start off w/ the age limit. The book has been classified for Ages 12+. Why? It's because of violent activity and others. The genre is Realistic Fiction. Although I think it's more adventure than realistic fiction So, this is for ALL Realistic Fiction AND Adventure readers

Quick summary of Book 1: The Hunger Games takes place in Panem. Panem is basically leftovers of North America after a war that happened. The war ended up splitting North America into 13 Districts controlled by one place called The Capitol. One day the 13th District Rebelled and attacked The Capitol... eventually, the 13th district lost and got destroyed. Ever since then, The Capitol decided to show their superiority over the districts. So every year, 1 Boy and 1 Girl from all the districts, ages 12 - 18 have to fight in the annual Hunger Games, where there's only 1 victor. The 1 rule in The Hunger Games, STAY ALIVE! Our main story happens in District 12, w/ a girl named Katniss.

I told you PART of Book 1... You have to read the Book to find out EVERYTHING! Also, as a side note, once you finish the 1st Book, you WILL want to read the rest of the series.
