[continued...] Try to pass the Lighning Cloud [by bumping into someone] RIGHT BEFORE IT TIMES OUT. This will give you maximum speed and take someone out. But if it's the 3rd Lap and you're close to the finish line, take a chance and don't pass it, you could speed roght into 1st place.
•Widespread Effects - Bloopers, Lightning, and POW Blocks. These items effect all players ahead of you. The Blooper gets the player's screen splattered with ink. To get rid of it, get a ramp boost or item boost. Lightning shrinks players and disarms them. When shrunk, you go slower. You grow back according to what order of placement you were in [1st place = Last]. POW Blocks cause an earthquake to make players spin out of control and drop their items. To counter this, shake the Wii Wheel right on the third quake. You'll lose your items, but keep driving.
•SUPER POWERS - Star, Bullet Bill, Mega Mushroom. You usually get these when you're far behind. Stars make you invincible, and faster. Use these in crowds of people to attack them all, and cut through off-road territory. Bullet Bills turn you into a Bullet Bill and is like a taxi: you just sit back and relax as you speed your way through the course automatically [only for a few seconds]. Mega Mushrooms make you enormous and faster. You can cut through off-road easily, and smush all beneath your wheels. I suggest after getting any of these items to try getting to a higher place by skill, THEN using it to get WAY ahead.

|Drifting [AUTOMATIC]|
I suggest to only do auto-drift if you're using a vehicle with a drift stat that's not so good. [Example: Mach Bike] This will just let you steer normally through turns, no boosts.

|Know your Courses!|
You need to know exactly where you are, where you're going, and where you've been. Location is very important!
