The new decade starts NEXT year, 2011. Need an explananation?
The first year in Anno Domini (A.D.) was Year One, correct? The first decade was 1-10 A.D.. Then 11-20. If you keep adding 10, you'll get up to 2001-2010, meaning we have not yet finished our first decade in the Second Milennium.
The Milennium was another mistake. Most people celebrated the new milennium on New Year's Day of 2000, while very few celebrated at the end of 2000. The milennium is 100 decades, no fractions. If you follow the simple rules of math, you could easily understand the pure stupidity of mankind.
