Alright, the main objective of Defense Wars is to defend your Base Cannon from enemy fire until;
A: The level time is survived and
reinforcements arrive, or
B: In the case of a "Boss" Level, in which the time is usually set to 10 minutes, the Boss Machinary is destroyed.
ENEMIES
Alright, so naturally, there are enemies. I'm sorry, did you just say that you thought there weren't gonna be enemies? õ3Ô
*Ahem* Anyway, here are the enemies that I have encountered thus far.
Soldiers: Basic foot units, usually come in packs of 2-10, at times by themselves. They rarely fire until right next to your Base Cannon. See Yellow Units.
Helicopters: A basic air unit, the Helicopters are equipped w/ small Machine Guns for rapid firing. However, their range is quite short. See Yellow Units.
Tanks: Ah, Tanks... Anyway, Tanks come in one of two varieties: Big or Small. There really is no difference to either, only that Big Tanks' Armor is much more durable. See Yellow Units
Yellow Units: Yellow Units are virtually the same as their regular green counter-parts. The only difference being: They're packed w/ explosives. These units fight no different than the others, and make for great combos.
WEAPONS
Ah, the good side of things. All weapons are controlled via the Stylus. I will describe some of the basic weapons you'll have access to.
Main Cannon: Your main fire support. This weapons Power is dependent on how are you flick your Stylus. It's Flak explodes, so it's very useful for large crowds. It's only drawback is that it can't shoot more than 1 shot at a time, but it has unlimited ammo.
Machine Turret: This little turret is a Machine Gun of sorts, as it can shoot many shots repeatedly. It has limited ammo, and a shorter range.
Tanks: Your main Mobile Fire Support, tanks only require you to shoot 'em in a general direction, as they fire at enemies automatically.

On a siide note, I forgot that there's a score-system.[naturally.]
That said, there are also Combos, which are racked up by continually destroying enemies. The combo is broken only if you are hit by Enemy Fire. That is all.
