Wind blows on my shoulders
Creeping up my spine
I'm aging, getting older
Like the chronologic line
They people that walk past me
All stop and stare a while
But I don't see what they see
'Cause while I pout, they smile
I'm almost off my rocker
I'm crazy in the head
"You're dying," said the doctor
I don't want to leave my bed
I'm diagnosed with cancer
And nothing's going to heal
I want a different answer
It almost seems surreal
My ears seem like they're ringing
I open up my mouth
But before I can say something
My heartrate plummets south
The wind blows through my ashes
Crawling through the dust
Like lighting several matches
I won't die until I must
