Another game thats been out for years, Dawn of Sorrow is the last Castlevania game made that I remember. This review may be SLIGHTLY biased, since I'm a hardcore Castlevania fan, but, ON WITH THE REVIEW!
Story: At least it's GOT one. It's the whole cliché "This guy inherited Dracula's power, this person wants to ressurect him, blabbidy-bla-bla." As you now see, I'm hard to impress story-wise. It's unoriginal, cliché, but it glues the gameplay together. Anyway, who buys Castlevania for story?
Gameplay: Same old undead but-whoopin' from the first game, but that's not nessasarily a BAD thing! There are tonnes of secrets to discover, the hugest Castle i've seen in the series, badass bosses, and a new "weapon infusion" thing where you can fuse demon souls into a weapon to make it stronger [cooler!] But for some reason I like PUNCHIN' THE CRAP OUTTA THINGS!
Graphics: Graphics look as if they could of been on GBA, but the animation is fluid and functional. I'll take a line STRAIGHT from a magazine to describe this.
"It's plain, but functional. Like bread."
Other: What's this? A Castlevania level editor?!! -Hoorah- not much else I can say.
