Twenty-three years ago in a place called Gem City, Brian and Karen Preston were at the soccer field by their house. The field was really big. To the left of it was an empty space. People are going to build there in the future.
"Let's play!" Brian told Karen.
"Sure thing," Karen said. "What are we going to play?"
"I'm not sure," replied Brian. "I wonder what people are going to build on that land over there." He was talking about the empty space.
"I think they will build a mall," replied Karen.
Brian liked Karen's idea. "That would be nice."
"I know, right?" sais Karen. "We have a nearby store called Worm*it. Another place to shop would be better."
"How did people come up with the name Worm*it?" Brian wondered. "There's more than just fishing stuff in there."
"Why not go there right now?" said Karen.
So, Brian and Karen decided to go to Worm*it. There were many cars parked there. "Look, Karen," Brian said along the way. "That looks like my car." The car was blue.
"It really does. We like our car a lot," said Karen.
"That's true," agreed Brian. "I'll keep it when we get older."
"How's the driving going?" asked Karen.
"Pretty good. One year of driving madness already," replied Brian.
"It's good to know that," said Karen.
When Brian and Karen reached Worm*it, the first thing they did was to look at the Ultra Vinny video game.
"I heard Ultra Vinny is a good game," Brian told Karen.
"When will the second game come out?" asked Karen.
"Maybe it's out already," answered Brian.
