Brian and Karen accepted the offer of getting a ride home from Alana and Gregor.
"You guys are interesting," said Brian.
"Thanks for saying that," said Alana.
"Where do you guys live?" asked Karen.
Caterina answered for her. "At Monty's!"
"It's nice there," said Alana. "There's a park by our place."
"That's good," said Brian.
When everyone was out of the car, Caterina suddenly ran to the road. Then a car was coming. Karen went to Caterina.
"No Karen don't!" exclaimed Brian.
Unfortunately, Karen and Caterina were hit by the car.
The car stopped, and the driver came out. "I'm really sorry," he said.
"Let's call the hospital before it's too late," said Gregor.
When they reached the Gem City Hospital, the people that were there when the accident happened came. Everyone but the car driver.
Karen and Caterina were laying on their beds. Brian came closer to Karen and Gregor and Alana went to Caterina.
"I can't help it if I lost you," said Brian. "There are tears in my eyes."
Karen became a ghost and came out of her body. "Brian, I'm here," she said.
Of course, Brian didn't hear her because she was a ghost.
"Brian..." Karen was crying. "Can you hear me?"
Caterina opened her eyes. She survived from the accident. "W-w-where am I?" she asked.
"You are in a hospital," replied Alana. "Here you'll be fine."
"Caterina!" Karen was louder this time. "You woke up..." Karen was trying to make it back into her own body. "Get in here!"
Suddenly, Brian realized that Karen was dead.
Brian was really sad. "I'll miss you..."
A light appeared outside of the hospital's room. Karen heard her name.
"No! This couldn't be happening!" she exclaimed.
But it was true. Karen died on this day.
