I want to warn everyone of a trick used be some people to get passwords. I don't think it has been used on SDK yet and I hope it wont be but I want everyone to be aware of it.
The trick goes like this:
Person A: Hey, theres this cool trick i've found:
Person B: What is it?
Person A: Not telling Person C: Cummon, tell us!
[Chat goes on with Person A getting B and C really wanting to know]
Person A: Ok, I'll tell you. Type in your password and it blocks it with the *.
Person B: Don't believe you.
Person A: ************
Person C: You're lying!
Person B: *************
Person B: Hey, it does work as well!
Person A: See, told you!
Person C: sonicthehedgehog
As you can see, A sets up the trap and B lures C into it by convincing him that he has no link with A, even though he does.
Don't fall for this. Passwords won't be blocked unless Hullbreach actually tells us.
Actually it is quite common, it's been highlighted in various articles in PC magazines, but if you feel that password stealing doesn't matter, your job as an admin is seirously flawed.
